MINNA is a home textile brand I established in 2013. MINNA strives to bridge the gap between ‘ethically made goods’ and ‘contemporary design.’
Employing a cottage industry approach, MINNA partners with master weavers and artisan collectives in Mexico and Guatemala. Our products are produced using traditional craft techniques which helps ensure both craft preservation and job creation.
MINNA comes from the name my maternal grandmother dropped upon her arrival to the United States from Germany, in 1940. I liked the story: nostalgic and a little bit rebellious.
